Kaitlin Green , Lawyer
Kaitlin Green joined Pettit and Company as an associate in 2016, upon her call to the bar of British Columbia.

Kaitlin was born and raised in a small town outside of Portland, Oregon. She lived in Japan and England before moving to Vancouver to attend the University of British Columbia for her Bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies (Hons). Prior to studying law, Kaitlin worked in a variety of roles, including stints as a freelance writer, health insurance administrator, barista, and short order cook. Kaitlin received her law degree from the University of British Columbia in 2015 and articled with a full-service firm in Squamish.

Kaitlin is equally comfortable inside the courtroom and research library. She has drafted policy statements for a national sports society on transgender rights, and has represented clients in personal injury lawsuits in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and Provincial Court of British Columbia. She brings a meditative, analytical approach to the practice of law and can be counted on to provide thorough and considered advice to all her clients.

Outside of work, Kaitlin indulges her creative side by practicing piano, voice and ukulele. She is an avid reader and loves to cook. In her spare time, Kaitlin can be found out with her pub trivia team, exploring Vancouver’s record shops and restaurants, or catching an occasional Whitecaps game.
